Here is a tutorial for a quick and simple mini message card for floral arrangements. This one uses very few craft products and features stamps by Mama Elephant.
CUT OUT YOUR MINI CARD
Start by cutting out a small piece of craft cardstock into a square that is slightly larger in width than the rectangular stitched die. Fold the paper in half, and run a bone folder along the crease to flatten it out. Place the die on a cutting plate so that the top of the die is just over the fold and tape it in place. Cover the entire paper and die with the top cutting plate and run it through your cutting machine.
STAMP & COLOR THE IMAGE
Stamp the image onto the top of the mini card using a clear stamping block and black waterproof dye ink. The image below is a “Hooray” balloon stamp by Mama Elephant. You can also draw mini “bows” on the top of the string or simply leave it alone.
Once the images are stamped and fully dry, lightly color them in with a colored pencil and finish it off with a Wink of Stella clear glitter shimmer pen.
Finish off the tag by gluing or taping it to a wooden skewer and insert the finished tag into a floral arrangement. This makes a great gift for an unsuspecting friend that you can make fairly quickly!
